The Midland Group AGM was held on Saturday 7th April 2026
The meeting was well attended and the business of the day was dealt with swiftly. We were graced with the company of the daughter of one of our late committee members, who bought some of his chrysanthemum books and other items for current members to take for a donation to the Group.
The first speaker of the day took the stage - Kevin Hubery - and his lecture on late reflex was very informative. Dinner followed and was soon eaten. Dinner was followed by the second speaker - Roger Frith, who spoke on his late sprays, and his method of growing these prizewinning blooms, and we also had a look around his beautiful garden.
Everyone went home happy, some with a carful of new plants that had been sold to raise funds for the Group.
